The Naked CeO, AKA Alex Malley chief executive of CPA Australia, is back for 2013. This year the opportunities for students across the globe to get involved in a unique and innovative online mentoring experience are bigger and better than ever. First up is an exclusive interview with McDonald’s Australia CEO Catriona Noble where Malley is joined by a new student guest Demara Roche from the University of Technology, Sydney. The interview, rolled out on thenakedceo.com on 25 February, marks the beginning of a commitment to provide new content year round, with an increase in opportunities for students to “star ” in episodes, supporting articles and videos. Malley invites students to join him behind the scenes with inspirational companies and leaders as he reveals the secrets they must learn on the road to success. He says The Naked CEO is, in many ways, a return to his life on the university campus. “I spent the better part of 20 years with large lecture groups of students and got on well with them and really missed that,” Malley says. One of the most rewarding aspects for Malley is the Ask Alex section, where students can submit a question and he responds with a video answer. Currently, there are more than 400 questions online, which have been viewed more than 16,500 times. The section’s popularity indicates a big gap in the support currently available to students with aspirations of becoming a future leader. “ We are getting some great questions,” Malley says. “And some unusual ones as well. The fact I can really interact with them has been a lot of fun. I did have a couple of laughing fits that I had to hold back on. This is quite unusual for me, but some of the student’s questions just tickled my fancy. I’ve offered a few quirky responses in return.” The Naked CEO website provides a 24/7, 365-days-a-year access-all-areas pass to global leaders and brands.
